Members of the South African Law Reform Commission

President Jacob Zuma has appointed five members of the South African Law Reform Commission (SALRC), following his earlier announcement that he had, on 19th July 2013, appointed the Honourable Judge Mandisa Maya as the Chairperson, and the Honourable Judge Jody Kollapen as its Vice Chairperson, for a period of five years. The President is pleased to announce that the following persons have now been appointed, for a period of five years, as members of the Commission:
(i) Professor Pamela Schwikkard;
(ii) Professor Vinodh Jaichand;
(iii) Advocate Mahlape Sello;
(iv) Mr Irvin Lawrence; and
(v) Ms Namhla Siwendu.

The field of experience of the members range from human rights law, administrative law and corporate governance law.
